This post, or the content in this post seems like a lifetime ago already. The day, month that I brought my Civic home; bought from a friend of mine whom bought it from an ex of his. Needless to say this car has been in the framily for many years and I only intend to enjoy it for many years to come.
Reminiscent
Let’s take a look at some images from that first night as well as some of the first from my rebuild project that’s still going on. When I brought her home she was pretty rough and needed a little love. It was undergoing a transformation when the friend I bought it from hit a deer on the way home one night and couldn’t rebuild it yet again so I had an opportunity to buy a car that held a close place in my heart. The 1996-2000 Honda Civic EX Coupe; it was my first nice car after a rough [but super fun] Chevy Cavalier back in high school and being recently divorced… (that’s not a story for this post) and wanting something fun again, I jumped at the chance to relive my high school car days through a new [to me] vessel.
A passion for anything automotive has brought much joy and equally as much frustration to so many over the years but when you realize your vision it becomes so gratifying.

The closer my Civic comes to being complete the more joy it’s giving me to work on it, I shouldn’t have dragged my feet for so long.
